ABOUT THE FABRIC
- Cupro is a recycled textile made from discarded natural fabrics or garments. It is environmentally friendly and gives once-used textiles a second life.
- Hand block printed designs are carved in teak wooden blocks, a new one for each color dye, then hand-pressed into the textile with care until the final pattern is achieved. No electricity is used during this process, and the artisans only print what is needed, reducing excess waste. This process also employs a high percentage of people due to all the necessary steps and skills.
