The Sidewinder Knife Deluxe maintains the original Sidewinder’s signature heft, motion, and feel. Its look, on the other hand, is a distinct departure in form. Either side of the Sidewinder Knife Deluxe’s polished stainless steel hilt features six abalone inlays, their color and composition shifting with the light as they move and realign with each opening and closing — an action sure to be repeated by anyone who holds one.
Developed in collaboration with Chen Chen & Kai Williams, the addition of abalone — a favored material of CC&KW — gives each Sidewinder Deluxe its own unique profile and dynamic look, with each bit painstakingly inlaid in the polished stainless steel frame. This special knife began its life on Kickstarter, attracting over 6000 backers, and has just recently become available to the general public.
